Next year, British Olympic Year, sees a major new marathon come to Milton Keynes on Sunday, 29 April.

With 4,500 acres of woodlands, lakesides, parks and landscaped areas within the city boundary, Milton Keynes is the ideal venue for a Green Marathon. The course is traffic free on closed roads and cycle paths, and without any significant incline there is real 'personal best' potential for all participants.

Runners and spectators will enjoy an electric atmosphere at the finish of the race inside the state of the art stadiummk, home of Milton Keynes Dons Football Club. And with plenty more entertainment en route this should be a race to remember.

MK Marathon wants as many charities as possible to have the opportunity of raising funds via the race. Five hundred charity places have been released and Arthritis Care has five of them. We are, therefore, looking for supporters who would like one of these places.

All we ask is that you commit to raising a minimum of £50 to cover our registration costs. We will then send you a code to register for your charity place, and a fundraising pack including T shirt and tips on how to raise as much money as possible!
