A self-help group for families who have a child with arthritis. It is run by parents, for parents.

The network covers the whole of Northern Ireland.

Through JOINTZ you can -

  • get to know other families in a similar situation
  • share experiences and problems with people who fully understand exactly what you are talking about
  • get information and the latest research findings
  • help raise public awareness of the problems faced by children with arthritis and their families

A diagnosis of Juvenile Idiopathic arthritis (JIA) has a major impact not just on the life of the child with arthritis, but also on the whole family.

JOINTZ aims to support family members through –

  • self-help ethos
  • family outings and fun days
  • information services
