Websites which wish to obtain a link from the Arthritis Care website must complete this form for consideration.
If the organisation has regional or local services and associated websites we will only link to their UK-wide website. Please note, this does not apply any regional / national website links pages. The appropriate regional / national area must be specified. The final decisions for all regional / national web-links will be at the relevant regional / national information manager’s discretion.
Points to consider
- any websites linked from the Arthritis Care website must be of benefit to people with arthritis
- all websites must have information applicable to people with arthritis living in the UK (i.e. UK drug names, UK-based support groups, references to UK health policy etc)
- as a rule, Arthritis Care will not include links to general consumer-health websites, although there may be some exceptions at the information manager’s discretion
- all websites linked to should have current and relevant information and show evidence of being well maintained
- any organisations that Arthritis Care has an established relationship with will be automatically linked to from the main UK web links page
- all websites linked to should have clear and easy to find contact details
- all websites linked to should ideally be accessible
- all websites linked to should be easy to use and navigate
