Arthritis Care were proud to exhibit at the NHS Innovation Exhibition at Excel in London in June 2009.
The exhibition was about bringing together the best in innovation from the private, public, voluntary, scientific and academic communities.
Profile
As experts in self-management, Arthritis Care knows that the services we offer are relevant and effective to millions of people of all ages. Unfortunately, logistics mean that we are unable to offer those services to the 10 million people throughout the UK who have arthritis.
Consequently, Arthritis Care has looked to develop different ways of expanding the service for those living in remote areas, those who are housebound because of their arthritis and those who wish to access information and support virtually. All without losing the quality of which Arthritis Care is rightly proud.

We were invited to showcase a selection of our most innovative projects and services:
- Helpline access via social media
- Motivational text messaging
- Peer to peer support via virtual groups
- Self-management training via video conferencing
